BLOOMFIELD, Ia. (April 15, 2006) - A new year and new look at the Mountain-Dew Bloomfield Speedway with five classes in action under the Casey's General Stores USRA sanctioning.

BLOOMFIELD, Iowa (April 11, 2006) - A new fan-friendly era of racing in southern Iowa begins this Friday night as a new promotional team begins its tenure as operator of the popular 3/8-mile clay oval at the Davis County Fairgrounds in Bloomfield, Iowa.

April 11
Friday night race fans will be treated to five classes of action packed excitement for "Fast Track Fridays" at the Mountain Dew Bloomfield Speedway. The five classes in action will be hornets, hobby stocks, stock cars, B-Modifieds and A-modifieds in action.

The always exciting 3/8 mile speedway will kickoff with hot laps at 7:00pm and racing action at 7:30pm.

There will not be a practice at Bloomfield. Season opener will be April 14th.

Webster City, Iowa (April 4, 2006) - Mother Nature dealt race fans a knockout punch last weekend as heavy rains forced the postponement of the Iowa-Missouri Border War. Today, however, officials from the O’Reilly Auto Parts United States Modified Touring Series, announced a rematch for Friday and Saturday, May 5-6.

The USMTS races at Bloomfield, Ia. and Memphis, Mo have been cancelled for this weekend. The races will be rescheduled for the first part of May, look for the official word on this tomorrow.

Bloomfield, Ia (March 28) - Race fans in Bloomfield, Iowa, are finally getting what they've been asking for as America's dirt modified masters will invade the Mountain Dew Bloomfield Speedway this Friday, March 31, for the inaugural invasion of the O’Reilly Auto Parts United States Modified Touring Series at the 3/8-mile semi-banked clay oval.
