Gone With the Wind.
Description: On the title page is Gone With The wind by Margaret
Mitchell
New York, The MacMillan Company, 1938. The cover
is gray, with the lettering in dark blue. The pages are yellow-
ing and the cover shows some wear. There are 1037 pages,
none appear lost or torn. There is a inscription on the first
page that reads: Christmas'39 to Dad with much love, Barara.

Monmouth Western Stoneware.
Description: This is the only book that I know of that was written
by a
person who works at the Western Stoneware factory. Authors
Jim Martin and Betty Cooper decided to write about all the
history of the seven companies in and near Monmouth, IL.
They also have large collections. This is a great reference book.

Antique Wash Stand.
Description: Code # 01-053
This item must be very old, because when my husband took
it all apart he found that it had been put together with square
nails. To prove this he left the holes on top unfinished,
and
placed some of the nails in the drawer. It is made of many
kinds
of wood. He used a combination of stains to make it appealing.
There is no original handle for the drawer.

There are shelves in this cabinet. It is just as we purchased
it
at an Auction I have a feeling that this was not it's original
stain. It is in very good condition, even the small latch
works.

Fiesta Bud Vaces and Deep Dish.
Description: The picture of these items is darker then they
really are. Each Item
is marked with an old marking of Fiesta, and the bud vases
are old,
I have it on good authority. I have a letter to prove it,
and will give
the letter to whomever purchases the vases. The coloring is
identical
to Bob & Sharon Huxford "Fiesta eight edition"
book, pg. 41.

This dish has a paper seal stating
that it is 24% lead crystal and made in Germany. A beautiful
piece. Stands 6 inches high and is approx. 4 ¼ inches
across.

Two pieces of very delicate china. Each is marked with a green
wreath
signifying that they are of the best grade porcelain. Condition

dish approx. 6 inches each way.

Lovely basket, hand painted in the USA. There is a paper sticker
and also a raised F in an oval on the bottom , indicating
that it is Fenton
The flower in a beautiful white/purple orchid . This piece
is signed
by the artist "Hand painted by P HAyhurst" Approx.
7 ½ x7 ½ inches.

Wedding bowl. It measures 5 ½ inches tall and 5 1/8

Antique jug.
Description: ? Some 35-40 years ago, my Husband came home carrying
two
of the most ugly red painted jugs you ever seen. He had save
these from a barn he was tearing down for a spinster lady.
I ask him, "What are you going to do with them?" He replied,
"Wait and see!" He removed the paint to reveal this beautiful
jug. There are no marking but realizing how old it has to be,
and our location, it could well be a Weir. The Weir Pottery Co.
was located in Monmouth, IL, about 80 miles from Wilton.
